The Tangaroan shrimp-goby, Ctenogobiops tangaroai, is a goby of the family Gobiidae, found in the Pacific Ocean to depths up to 40 m, in reef areas of broken rock and sand or mud. It reaches a max length of 6 cm.
It is frequently found living in a symbiotic relationship with shrimp.
